Jiu-Jitsu is a premium activity because you reap benefits. It's not just a "game" to "keep you active"; it's a very real-life skill with a practical application of Jiu-Jitsu in a self defense scenario.
But if we're being honest, the far majority of our members won't ever use Jiu-Jitsu "in the streets". The tangible skills of Jiu-Jitsu are far more valuable with even greater impact:
The confidence it brings to your day-to-day life
The productivity it creates in the workplace and classroom
The improved focus on tasks
The unique family community that has your back no matter what
The clarity, fulfillment, and improved mental health (experienced by our adult members especially) is what keeps them coming back week after week
As a result, tuition ranges from $40-$50/week depending on how much you train. That equates to:
2 Trips to Starbucks (ordering a beverage and breakfast item), 3 cocktails, 2 trips to Taco Bell, 15 minutes with a Therapist, 30 minutes with a personal trainer, or 1 unplanned trip to Target
If that’s out of budget, we get it!
When I started Jiu-Jitsu in 2009, I was paying $1200/year. Adjusting for inflation, that's just under $300/month at the time! Statistically, Americans spend about $12,000 on "non essentials" each year. As the saying goes... "show me your bank account and calendar, and I'll show you what's important to you."
That said, we opened up to change lives through Jiu-Jitsu, and we don't want money to get int he way of that.
That's why we work with state programsm to help struggling families earning under less than 60% of the median income apply for scholarships. If that's one of you, our coaches will help you apply for funding to get you/your child training.
